Seminar "Assessment of information and communication literacy of graduates of a primary school: tools, organization of the assessment and use of results"

On November 28-29, 2013, in Moscow, on the basis of the Russian Training Center of the Institute for Education Management of the Russian Academy of Education and with the support of the World Bank, a seminar "Assessment of the information and communication literacy of primary school graduates: tools, the assessment organization and use of results" was held.

The seminar was attended by experts from three countries (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan) and 6 regions of the Russian Federation. The participants represented educational institutions, centers for assessing the quality of education, institutions of higher and further professional education, scientific organizations.

The content and characteristics of the IC Literacy Test - information and communication literacy assessment tool, the possibility of presenting and using the results to develop solutions for the implementation of ICT at the level of the school, region, country  and to improve the learning outcomes of students were discussed at the seminar. In addition, all seminar participants were given the opportunity to take the test.
