V interregional scientific-practical conference "Development of a regional system for assessing the quality of education in new conditions"


On December 5, 2013, the 5th interregional scientific-practical conference "Development of a regional system for assessing the quality of education in new conditions" was held in Barnaul.

The conference was attended by: Deputy Governor of the Altai Republic, Head of the Main Department of Education and Youth Policy, Head of the Department of Quality Assessment of Education of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science, representatives of educational authorities of Omsk, Irkutsk Regions, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk Territory, Altai Republic, Khakassia, the chairmen of the municipal education management bodies, pedagogical workers of educational institutions of the Altai Region - more than 400 people in total.

During the conference, issues related to the development of the regional system for assessing the quality of education in the light of the federal concept and the plan of measures for the Russian system for assessing the quality of general education, self-assessment of the activities of educational organizations as a mechanism for managing the quality of education were discussed, and “cross-cutting” criteria and indicators of education quality were developed.

In the plenary part, the objectives of developing a system for assessing the quality of education in the Altai Republic and the role of self-esteem in improving the quality of students and teachers: the Deputy Executive Director of the National Training Foundation, Ph.D. Svetlana Avdeeva had a speech about the possibilities of using the ICL Test tool to measure the IC literacy of students in 9 grades, and also presented the results of a study of the IC literacy of graduates of the primary school in Barnaul.
