The results of monitoring of information and communication literacy assessment at students of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, 2016


 

On April, 2016 the longitudinal monitoring study on information and communication literacy assessment was conducted at schools in the Autonomous Okrug. The aim of the study was to determine the level of IC literacy and its change comparing with the 2014 and to identify factors connected with the changing of the level of IC literacy and to test additional hypotheses about the factors of inter-individual differences in IC literacy.

The assessment was organized by Regional Centre of Education Assessment of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The basis of the toolkit was the author’s methodologies and materials developed by the National Training Foundation - the IC Literacy Test tool, which allows to assess the IC literacy of students during the imposition of Federal State Educational Standards, and to identify factors that influenced the formation of IC literacy. 

The tool also included the questionnaire for teachers wich was devoted to different aspects of using Information and communication technologies in teachers professional activities. The questionnaire let us compile information about the practices of ICT in the educational process, and also relate them to the level of IC literasy of students.
