On April, 26-27th, 2016, Eurasian Educational Dialogue International Forum was held. The Forum was devoted to issues of education quality management based on the assessment of educational results in the context of international experience and international practices.
The new Russian educational standards of general and vocational education imply the achievement of the results of a new type (meta-subject and personality) along with traditional subject results.
The new types now are practically not being assessed by state systems for assessing the quality of education in the Russian Federation.
Work on achieving meta-subject and personal results cannot be recognized as effective without reliable information on the effectiveness of the learning process.
Ksenia Tarasova, PhD in Pedagogy, leading specialist of National Training Foundation, whose presentation at the closing plenary session was noted as “presentation of particular interest”, made a report "Approaches to assessing information and communicationliteracy of students" as part of the practical section.
The presentation was devoted to the ICL Test tool, developed in National Training Foundation, and the possibility of using it to measure one of the most important meta-subject results of mastering the basic general education program of basic general education - “formation and developing of literacy in the use of information and communication technologiess”.
